have you ever heard of this guy, mister fravia? over at the researchzilla beta, shally steckerl (now of microsoft, thank god he left elGoog!) talked about the recon2005 conference …one of the guys who appeared there to present is legendary mr. fravia, soi distant sultan of search techniques, the man who can find anything (yes, anything)…here’s a snapshot of his 2005 presentation in montreal..

so when you go to his site, he welcomes you, “As you shall see upon entry to this site, if you so choose, there is quite a bit of information to indulge in. Though this knowledge comes to you free of charge, it does require of you an open mind and some self-doing in order to understand the techniques contained within. You will find here useful hints, powerful tools, and half-forgotten lore.”

…and he warns you: “Those that do learn how to search, which is what this site is intended to teach, will be able to find on the web -if needs be- ANY KNOWLEDGE, and thus -also- zillions of possible exploits. Innocent ones, milder ones, and *quite* nasty ones as well…This site offers raw, free knowledge. As always, sheer power can be used for ‘evil’ deeds and/or for ‘good’ deeds (let’s leave aside, for now, the rather complex question of what would be ‘evil’ and what would be ‘good’ nowadays, just use your own parameters).”
