mostly research stuff
so after failing to pay over 200 million in taxes, walter anderson (aka mr. robert zzylch or william prospero) was traduced by federal authorities and banished to the front page of the major dailies, serving as the poster-child for the 2005 tax teason’s campaign against evasion, the biggest tax cheat in us history…and tales were told about his dubious nature, a scintilla of a man hiding behind fake names and identities, escaping millions upon millions in taxes after earning billions in the telecommunications industry…pecuniary tales focused on his wanton disregard for the ‘way things work’ with our tax system - a cascading corporate style sheet of shelter upon shelter, companies cloaked under holding companies managed by walt’s aliases…
….but within every piece there was always missing one major item of interest: when the cops raided his three apartments, they found a very interesting collection of publicly available books which he used to manage his identities and global aliases:
“Poof! How to Disappear and Create a New Identity” - amazon has a few similar titles, like ‘hide your assets and disappear,’ but i haven’t found a good ‘for sale’ copy of this yet - and it’s the book that was actually in walt’s hands when they nabbed him!
“The ID Forger” available for about 10 bucks on amazon, one review, “In the introduction, John Q. says a good quality forgery is almost never detected by people who commonly examine identification documents. The four characteristics that make for a good quality forgery are: that the forged document bears a close resemblance to the real document; that all the numbers appearing on a real document appear on the forgery; that all seals, stamps and signatures on the real document are also on the forgery and that the paper used for the fogery is identical to the paper used for the real document. Then he tells you how…”
“Reborn Overseas,” a how-to guide with the double subtitles “Identity Building in Europe, Australia and New Zealand” and “Methods of Disguise” - the ‘methods of disguise’ title is about 9 bucks on amazon, no reviews, no description..but the ‘reborn overseas’ version is only 8 bucks (!), per one review, “Written by Trent Sands, this books can at best serve as a primer for establishing identity in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. It falls far short of being useful for the actual acts which it portrays to be designed. It does give some overview information on the process, and that alone is useful.”
…enjoy your summer reading…you might also seriously consider reading ‘youth in revolt‘ by cd payne, particularly if you have ever been a teenage boy, or have one of your own (oh my, such remarkable insight...)
this blog is mostly safe for work, though i sometimes throw around a 'fuck' or two. you'll find a bunch of my articles from CI Magazine, SCIP online, other research pieces and some other crap. enjoy. there's lost of content here related to getting information about, around, from and through people and organizations...
