while working my way through my newest fresh smelling copy of new scientist, i had to stop twice to register the astounding absurdity of one item mentioned in the feedback section…a guy named keith marshall told the new scientist folks about a company called audio books for free and their recent development of an “ak-mp3 jukebox“…yes, you read that correctly, an mp3 player for your ak-47 automatic rifle…sure to be a hit with gang bangers prowling for new bling bling…also great for gun-toting researchers looking for a way to take audio books into urban warfare without having to drag along that leaden ipod…

“AK-MP3 player built into the body of the ammunition magazine of Kalashnikov automatic rifle…Player could be used on its own or it could be attached to the Kalashnikov machine gun instead of the ordinary magazine.
