mostly research stuff
so yeah, i finally came back to crap all over this playboy interview with elGoog founders barry and sergio…haven’t read it? the entire thing is online…looking for it in print? you’ll find it between the groomed vaginas and the beer ads….i was gonna just rip this thing up piece by piece…but rather than meander about this proverbial blather, i feel that it makes more sense to hone in on four key items (the joint excrescence of their rambling minds that pissed me off the most)…
first, brin’s comment about street children…excerpt; “It’s available to the rich, the poor, street children in Cambodia, stock traders on Wall Street—basically everybody. It’s very democratic.” …i’m sorry, the who? street children in cambodia? what in the absolute fuck is he talking about? has he any idea what life is like for street children in cambodia? does he think those kids give a flying shit about internet search…or would they prefer food, or perhaps housing or healthcare? sorry sergio, you just sound like an asshole..
second, brin’s comment about guns and liquor…excerpt: “For example, we don’t accept ads for hard liquor, but we accept ads for wine. It’s just a personal preference. We don’t allow gun ads…We don’t try to put our sense of ethics into the search results, but we do when it comes to advertising.” …what the shit? this is the most stupid ass thing i’ve ever heard of…for starters, you can not see an ad for liquor or guns, but if you search for ‘handjob’ you’ll see loads of ads for porn, and if you search for ’swords’ you’ll get weapons galore…summary: between playboy and advertising, elGoog prefers the purveyors of porn to the company of ted nugent.
third, page’s comment about being a part of our lives…excerpt: “The amazing thing is that we’re part of people’s daily lives, like brushing their teeth…Google has been accepted as part of people’s lives.” …spare me barry, just like the internet at mcdonald’s, you misunderstand your role in people’s lives…in fact, if we might take a cue from the widsom of dentists: toothbrushers should consider the size of the head (think barry and sergio heads are too big) and should change brushes often (yes, there’s more to search than elGoog)…
and lastly, the whole evasion issue - my biggest beef..these two just refused to address and respond to questions about privacy directly…like getting a straight answer from marian barry (during his comeback) trying to explain how he scored those hookers and that crack…these two just kept going around and around pointing to other companies…somebody shoulda just put it to ‘em like a parent or a teacher, “i didn’t ask you about that other kid, i asked what you did.”
this blog is mostly safe for work, though i sometimes throw around a 'fuck' or two. you'll find a bunch of my articles from CI Magazine, SCIP online, other research pieces and some other crap. enjoy. there's lost of content here related to getting information about, around, from and through people and organizations...

That comment about street children IS offensive! I’m surprised that it hasn’t been picked up by other media or journalists.

Google thinks about Cambodian kids!
So it seems, Google founders seem to think they are doing big things: In this playboy interview with Google founders Mr. Sergey Brin is taking Cambodian children as an example of how democratic and wide-spread their search engine is.
