okay, those of you who have invited me to ‘connect with you’ in the online social networking sites have all gotten the rejection email… and if you’ve spent any time at this site then you know that i’m very down on this anti-analog networking trend…so now, in an effort to show you just how far some folks will go to deride these major sites, i bring you a quick round-up of the top spoof sites…there are eight here (others have already come and gone)…if you know of another, please comment below!

“the sexual history network site” …the real irony here is that the parent organization is trying to get their own legitimate networking site off the ground (and it sucks)

political friendster
actually a very solid parody site from stanford (no joke)! “Political Friendster is a parody of the social network Friendster. It allows a visualization of the connections between players in the political game.”

borekut
“an online community that connects boring people through a network of boring friends”

where the 11,653 fake ‘friendster’ accounts live on (animals, cartoons, whatever else got purged…)

introvertster
“an online community that prevents stupid people and friends from harassing you online”

name says it all…around since 2002 - BUT do you have the enemyster beta code? ..i don’t ;(
