no, that’s not an exact quote…in typical sunday ny times magazine fashion, a writer has access to a seemingly important person and floats off into a discussion about (in this case) his hair (”not a toupee”) and his use of hair spray. what did ms. solomon (the writer) miss? the opportunity to expound lott’s passing comment that the cia is lacking in linguists… then lott serves up this jape, “the running joke is that if you get on Intelligence, you have no intelligence.” thanks lott, for demonstrating a lack of respect for the agency that represents one of the last bastions of hope for intelligence operations improvement (and repair)…he’s no cunning linguist…definitely look for lott on south park
